Creek to Coral is organising drawing contests twice a year! The winner of the contest will see his drawing uploaded on the website and wins great prizes!
So rush to your pencils! This is your chance to become a famous creek to coral artist…
RULES:
Drawing Contest Rules 65KB
Who: Anybody from 7 to 77, who lives in Townsville or Thuringowa shires. Children under 12 need a parent or guardian permission.
There are three age categories for contestants:
Kitten- 7-12 years-old
Junior-13-18 years-old
Senior-19-77 years-old
What: A drawing or artwork, featuring nature in Townsville and Thuringowa regions, and that is illustrating Creek to Coral. Pens, pencils, crayons, paint, texter, watercolours are accepted- but you can also use other creative ways to come up with a piece of artwork!
When: Drawing contests take place twice a year- once during fall and once during spring.
The deadlines are:
Autumn: 21 March
Spring: 23 September
How: Create a piece of art relevant to Creek to Coral or select one of your best drawings. If you are under 18 ask for your parents permission to participate. Then mail your drawing to Creek to Coral!

QUESTIONS & ANSWERS:
What drawings?
Your drawing has to be related to Creek to Coral! Everything on nature, water, wildlife or infrastructure is accepted. You could try to draw a catchment- but anything like a nice drawing of a Jabiru or a mangrove will be great too. Let your imagination go wild!
Can I get my drawing back?
Sorry, but we cannot return the drawing that you send to us. We suggest you photocopy it before sending it!
