The main components of this task included:

Development of a stakeholder consultation strategy;
The establishment of the Creek to Coral web portal to provide information on Creek to Coral total water cycle management activities including the Townsville WQIP;
Supporting existing and new Community Based Education and Involvement (CBEI) activities and networks including Citischools, Creekwatch, Reefcheck, Seagrass Watch, and Reef Guardian Schools through the Youth Environment Network (YEN)
Strengthening and enhancement of community involvement opportunities, community events and integration with school curriculum based topics e.g. through tours, events and workshops;
Ongoing support for community involvement and participation through the development of training modules and newsletters;
Championing innovative approaches to management practice behaviour change through Community Based Social Marketing (CBSM), Thematic Interpretation, and Collective Social Learning
Further integration of total water cycle management, biodiversity protection and energy conservation.
