Working Group 2: On Ground Action & Infrastructure
The structure of this working group involves stakeholders such as representatives of Townsville and Thuringowa City councils, NQ Water and Townsville Port Authority.
The group focuses on infrastructure upgrading and management as well as vegetation management.
The main focus is urban water management, but the group also tackles important issues such as Invasive Alien Species, plant identification, rehabilitation and mapping, coastal beach and dune erosion etc.
